These guidelines help keep AUS welcoming, useful and safe for everyone.
Keep it appropriate
Do not post illegal, sexually explicit, graphic, exploitative or otherwise harmful material. Follow the rules of each channel.
No spam or scams
Avoid repeated promotions, unsolicited messages, suspicious links, impersonation, phishing, deceptive offers or attempts to obtain member credentials.
Protect privacy
Do not share another person's private information, messages or images without permission. Never request passwords or authentication codes.
Use the right channels
Keep conversations relevant to the channel and follow moderator instructions. Ask before promoting a business, community or personal project.
Report concerns
Report serious issues privately to the moderation team rather than escalating conflict publicly. Include useful context and evidence where appropriate.
